The tamang Heritage Trail takes you through verdant midlands of Nepal experiencing the beauty of this mountain region and the culture of the people who live here. The trail passes thorough traditional Tamang villages where life, culture, and crafts have remained unchanged since the beginning of the settlement. 
Rasuwa is situated near the Tibet border, is the most beautiful Himalayan region of Nepal. It is surrounded by beautiful Ganesh Himal, Kerung, Langtang range, and also has famous lake Gosaikunda. In fact Rasuwa can be called paradise of Nepal.
Tamang people are the natural inhabitants of Rasuwa. The Tamang means “the great warrior of ancient time goes back to the 8th century from Tibet eastern district Kham”.
In fact Rasuwa is famous for the cultural, musical, artistic and ancient religious rich heritage of Tamang people. The ancient village stone houses, caves, forest, monasteries and unique people’s customs are the great attraction of the place. Langtang national park has been recently developed as the Tamang heritage of Nepal.

We will be staying in old monastery and sometimes in the villagers with the local mountain people. We will offer and organize ancient traditional and cultural dances in the village by the native people. The tourist also can take part in these cultural dances along with the villagers. We also organize traditional mask dances by the lamas also, typical shamans powerful nature worship known as whitch craft “Jhakri”. Beside this there will be a special puja for long life in the monastery and meditation lecture and discuses on the trantrik Buddhism.
